NBPC Proposals

Accepted until February 1, 2024

​

Conference proposals guidelines:

​

NBPC is seeking proposals that engage participants in topics related to quality education of a BEST PRACTICE for ALL learners, K-12, in the following areas:

  • Best Practice in Math

  • Best Practice in Science

  • Best Practice in Social Studies

  • Best Practice in Language Arts

  • Best Practice in Bilingual Education

  • Best Practice in Dual Language Education

  • Best Practice in English as a Second Language Education

  • Best Practice in General Education

  • Best Practice in Gifted and Talented Education

  • Best Practice in Special Education

  • Best Practice in Early Childhood Education

  • Best Practice in Technology in the Classroom

  • Best Practice in Administrators

NBPC invites ALL education experts, researchers, authors, and successful practitioners with information of interest to submit a proposal.

​

Please read the NBPC Presenter Agreement thoroughly before submitting your proposal:

​

To present at the NBPC conference, all accepted presenters must register for the conference by February 1, 2024.

​

A registration discount of $50 will be applied for the lead presenter upon registration.

​

Proposals that promote products or services MUST be submitted as a Commercial proposal and will be reviewed separately from the academic proposals. Commercials proposals submitted as Academic Proposals will be marked NOT ELIGIBLE, and will not be reviewed or accepted.

 

Title: (15-word title limit)

Do NOT include any identifying information such as name, title or organization, in the title or they will be disqualified.

If you plan to present in a language other than English, submit the proposal in the language it will be presented.

Description: (150-word description that highlights the BEST PRACTICE)

The description will appear in the conference program as submitted by the presenter. If presenting in a language other than English, submit the description in the language of the presentation.

​

After February 10, 2024, all NBPC submissions are FINAL and cannot be changed.

​

Presenter Bio: (50-word limit)

​

Presentation Materials

The presenter is responsible for the printing and distribution of their handouts and PowerPoint.

​

Presentation Types:

Presentation - 60 Minutes

Presenters share their Best Practices with the audience with ample opportunities for participation and engagement

​

Commercial Demonstration - 60 Minutes

Promote commercial goods or services. In addition to promoting your product/service, these sessions should provide the audience with useful information.

​

Lead Presenter and Co-Presenter(s)

The user profile used to submit this proposal will be listed as the Lead Presenter for the proposal and will receive ALL NOTIFICATIONS regarding the proposal. Co-presenters DO NOT submit a proposal using your user profile if you are NOT the Lead Presenter. The Lead Presenter is responsible for ensuring that your co-presenters are registered by the presenter registration deadline indicated on the registration form.

Presentation Limit:

Each presenter is allowed a TOTAL of (3) presentations, including presentations in which they are secondary presenters. If a presenter submits more than (3) proposals, the additional proposals will be disqualified.

​

Presenter Availability:

Presenters whose proposals are accepted must be available to present during all three days of the conference. Presenters are not guaranteed that their accepted proposal will be scheduled for any particular day of their preference during the conference.

​

Conference Registration:

NBPC does not waive registration fees for presenters. A registration discount of $50 will be applied ONLY for the lead presenter upon registration. All accepted presenters must be registered for the conference. The deadline for presenter registration is  February 10, 2024. If all proposal presenters (including co-presenters) are not registered by February 10, 2024, the presentation will be canceled. It is the responsibility of the lead presenter to ensure that all presenters on their proposal are registered for the conference.

Cancellation Policy - Cancellations/Refunds/Substitutions Deadlines:

Registration Cancellation Deadline is January 10, 2024, via email to info@myNBPC.com

A $50 USD processing fee will be deducted from the registration fees paid for ALL cancellations.

Cancellations and refund requests received after January 10, 2024 deadline will not be honored.

NBPC will be communicating with the lead presenter via email.

​

Presenter No-Show Policy:

NBPC understands that emergency situations sometimes occur; however, we need to be able to inform our attendees when a session has been canceled so that they have the opportunity to select another session.

​

Failure to notify NBPC of session cancellation prior to the scheduled start of the session will be deemed a "presenter no-show." NBPC reserves the right to reject proposals from no-show presenters for two consecutive conference years following the occurrence of a presenter no-show.

​

Lead Presenter's Telephone:

The Lead Presenter's telephone number must be provided. This information will not be shared.​
